VinsnowDanielle Yoemans Killed, 2 Injured in Columbia County Car Accident on Highway 30
Columbia County, Oregon (May 23, 2023) – Danielle Dawn Yoemans, 34, of Hillsboro, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Saturday night in Columbia County.
The accident happened at around 9:47 p.m. on Highway 30 near milepost 35.
According to the Oregon State Police, Salina Gable Malynn, 27, of St. Helens, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee westbound and was making a turn onto Butterfield Road.
At the same, a Ford Focus driven by Steven Bayard Sullivan, 34, of Hillsboro, was traveling eastbound when it crashed into the side of the Jeep.
Yoemans was a passenger in the Ford and was killed in the crash.
Sullivan suffered severe injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Malynn was not injured in the crash but her passenger, Katie Ann-Devona Witt, 24, of Helens, was taken to a hospital in Washington with unspecified injuries.
The OSP is investigating the cause of the crash.
