Dangelo Charles and Fayth Mccan-Bush Seriously Hurt in Fatal Oroville Car Accident on Highway 149

Oroville, California (August 8, 2023) – Dangelo Charles, 25, of Sacramento, and Fayth Mccan-Bush, 22, were severely hurt in a fatal collision on Sunday afternoon in Oroville, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The deadly collision happened at about 2:15 p.m. on August 6 on Highway 149.

Per the dispatch, two vehicles were involved in a head-on crash for unknown reasons.

Police confirmed Charles was heading southbound in a black Volkswagen Jetta when he drove past the center dirt median and crashed head-on into a northbound green Ford Ranger.

Two Ranger occupants suffered fatal injuries due to the collision.

Charles, Fayth, and a 3-year-old kid from Paradise, all riding in the Jetta, sustained severe injuries and were hospitalized.

Charles was later arrested for a violation that is yet to be specified.

An investigation is ongoing.
