Christina Taylor and Taylor Mayavan Killed in Fairfield Car Accident on Suisun Valley Road
Fairfield, California ( November 22, 2022) – Authorities have identified 38-year-old Christina Taylor and 11-year-old Taylor Mayavan, all Fairfield residents, as two persons killed in a multi-vehicle accident on Friday evening in Fairfield.
According to the Solano County Coroner, the accident occurred at about 6:15 p.m. on November 18 on Suisun Valley Road, south of Morrison Lane.
Authorities said Taylor was driving her Mazda southbound when she swerved into another lane and crashed into a Honda heading northbound. The impact caused the Mazda to slam into a tree before moving into the northbound lane and crashing into a Chrysler.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and declared Taylor and her daughter 11-year-old Taylor Mayavan of Fairfield, dead. A 6-year-old boy in the Mazda suffered minor injuries and was taken to NorthBay Medical Center for further treatment.
The Honda driver, 56-year-old Janice Berry of Fairfield, was not hurt. A three-year-old boy driving in the Honda sustained minor injuries due to the accident.
Virginia Martin, Chrysler’s driver, sustained minor injuries and was transported to Northbay Medical Center.
Police said they suspected that alcohol played a role in the accident.
The incident remains under investigation.
