At Least 1 Dies After Yuba City Accident on Highway 99 at Wilson Road

Yuba City, California (November 22, 2022) – At least one person was killed after a fatal car accident on Monday night in Yuba City, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred around 9:37 p.m. on November 21 on southbound Highway 99 at Wilson Road.

Per the CHP officials, a black SUV and a big rig crashed for unknown reasons. One of the cars burst into flames due to the impact.

Firefighters and medics arrived at the crash site and declared at least one party dead following the accident. 

Authorities closed southbound Highway 99 at Highway 113.

Further details regarding this crash were not provided.

An investigation is underway.
