P.MarkShayaniChandlyr Dees Killed in Apple Valley Accident at Standing Rock Avenue and Japitul Road
Apple Valley, California (December 3, 2022) – 15-year-old Chandlyr Dee has been identified as the teenager who died in a two-vehicle collision in Apple Valley on Sunday afternoon.
The fatal accident happened at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Standing Rock Avenue and Japitul Road.
According to the authorities, an ATV and a sedan were involved, but the events leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.
Dees sustained major injuries and was rushed to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Apple Valley, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
The California Highway Patrol said the roadway was closed for about two hours following the incident and was later reopened at around 7 p.m.
