Vinsnow1 Killed in Hayward Bicycle Accident on Tennyson Road near 880 Freeway
Hayward, California (May 9, 2023) – A bicyclist died after being struck by a vehicle in Hayward on Sunday night.
The fatal bicycle accident happened at around 10:30 p.m. on eastbound Tennyson Road near Interstate Highway 880 offramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 29-year-old Hayward man was riding a bicycle and was struck by a vehicle in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified man was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The 27-year-old man driving the car stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
No additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
