VinsnowKimberly Ritter Killed in Linn County Collision on I-5 near Milepost 233
Linn County, Oregon (May 9, 2023) – Kimberly Ritter, 56, of Portland and a male juvenile were killed in a two-vehicle collision early Sunday morning in Linn County.
According to Oregon State Police, the accident happened at around 3:17 a.m. on Interstate 5 near milepost 233.
64- year-old Jimmy Davis, from Portland, was driving an Infinity QX5 northbound on the freeway. For unknown reasons, Jimmy rear-ended a Nissan Rogue driven by Glenn Stillman, 36, of Independence.
The impact of the crash pushed the Infinity off the roadway where it struck several trees before coming to a stop on the side of the highway.
Ritter and the male juvenile were passengers in the Infinity and were pronounced dead at the scene.
Davis and another male juvenile were taken to the hospital with major to moderate injuries.
Stillman was not injured in the crash.
No other information regarding the accident was available.
The accident remains under investigation.
