Man Dies in Mar Vista Bicycle Accident at Centinela and Mitchell Avenues

Mar Vista, California (September 26, 2022) – A man in his 60s died early Sunday morning after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in Mar Vista.

According to the authorities, the fatal bicycle accident happened at around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Centinela and Mitchell avenues.

A vehicle was traveling southbound on Centinela Avenue while the bicyclist was going north when the two collided for unknown reasons.

The cyclist sustained severe injuries and was rushed to hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The name of the man was not immediately disclosed.

The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
