Accident News Team1 Hospitalized After Orcutt Truck Accident on Highway 1 near Highway 135
Orcutt, California (December 20, 2022) – One person was hospitalized with severe injuries following a semi-truck accident on Monday night in Orcutt, according to the CHP.
The deadly accident occurred around 11:08 p.m. on December 19, on northbound Highway 1, just south of Highway 135.
Police said a vehicle and a Volkswagen Jetta crashed for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid one person severely injured in the collision. The party was transported to the hospital for treatment.
The vehicles were blocking the roadway following the accident.
The Volkswagen sustained significant damage and was removed from the crash site by tow trucks.
The incident remains under investigation.
