Newhall, California (May 22, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle accident that left at least one party with severe injuries on Sunday afternoon in Newhall.
The accident occurred at around 1:57 p.m. on May 21, on the eastbound 210 Freeway at Maclay Street.
Police confirmed four cars crashed for unknown reasons.
Firefighters and medics rushed to the scene to aid at least one individual with critical injuries from the collision.
Police issued a SigAlert closing down lanes 2 and 3 for approximately one hour.
