At Least 1 Killed in Menifee Car Accident on 215 Freeway near Scott Road

Menifee, California (May 20, 2023) – Authorities have identified 62-year-old Pam Liz as the woman killed in a fatal collision on Thursday night in Menifee.

The crash occurred at around about 9:15 p.m. on May 18 on northbound Interstate 215 near Scott Road.

Police confirmed at least two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

Responding fire officials and medics extricated one individual pinned inside one of the vehicles.

Liz suffered fatal injuries in the collision.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.

Authorities blocked the northbound lanes and diverted traffic off the freeway at Scott Road following the crash.

An investigation is ongoing.
