Armando Beltran Identified as Man Killed in Turlock Crash on Highway 99

Turlock, California (June 24, 2023) – Authorities have identified 54-year-old Armando Beltran of Turlock as the man killed in a deadly collision early Tuesday morning in Turlock.

The deadly collision occurred on Highway 99 near Lander Avenue at about 3:17 a.m. on June 20.

Police said Beltran was riding a southbound sedan in the northbound lanes when it crashed head-on into a Tesla. The sedan rolled over before bursting into flames after the crash.

Beltran was declared dead at the crash site.

The Tesla driver, a 37-year-old man from Escalon, and his 6-year-old son sustained severe and moderate injuries due to the collision. The two were taken to the hospital for treatment.
