Anthony Perluss Dies After Warner Springs Accident on Highway 79 near Peralta Drive

Riverside County, California (August 2, 2023) – According to the Riverside County Sheriff Press Release, Anthony Perluss, 16, of Warner Springs, was killed in a skateboarder accident on Sunday night in Warner Springs.

The deadly collision happened at about 8:00 p.m. on July 30 on State Route 79 near Peralta Drive.

Authorities said Perluss was riding a scooter in the area when a southbound Mitsubishi operated by a 74-year-old man hit him.

Perluss was rushed to Inland Valley Hospital, where he died.

The Mitsubishi driver and a 70-year-old female passenger were unharmed.

No additional information concerning this crash was provided.

The incident remains under investigation.
