VinsnowAndres Gutierrez Killed in Chula Vista Accident on E Street
Chula Vista, California (May 29, 2023) – The Chula Vista police have identified the man killed in a crash on Wednesday morning in Chula Vista as 57-year-old Andres Montante Gutierrez.
The deadly collision happened a while after 6:00 a.m. on May 28, in the 700 block of E Street.
Gutierrez of Chula Vista was reportedly heading westbound on E Street at a high rate of speed when he veered into the left turn lane and slammed into a sedan.
The sedan, operated by a woman in her 60s, was waiting to drive into a MacDonald’s parking lot when the accident happened.
Gutierrez suffered fatal injuries due to the collision. The sedan driver was taken to a medical center for a medical review.
