P.MarkShayani3 Hurt in Menifee Car Accident at Murphy Ranch and Newport Roads
Menifee, California (September 28, 2022) – Three people were injured, two severely, in a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Menifee.
The crash happened at around 3:10 p.m. at the intersection of Murphy Ranch and Newport roads.
Two vehicles were involved in the crash. However, the events leading up to the collision were not immediately determined.
One person was trapped inside one of the vehicles and was extricated by firefighters who responded to the crash.
The trapped victim and another sustained severe injuries and were taken to a regional trauma center for treatment.
A third person suffered minor injuries and was also taken to hospital.
The intersection was temporarily closed following the incident.
The Menifee Police Department is investigating the cause of the collision.
