3 People Hospitalized after Preston Car Accident on I-90 near Preston-Fall City Road Southeast

Preston, Washington (August 3, 2023) – Three people were sent to hospital following a two-car crash on Wednesday afternoon in Preston.
The Washington State Patrol says the accident happened around 3:53 p.m. on Interstate 90 near milepost 21, just west of Preston-Fall City Road Southeast.
A car traveling westbound on I-90 had stopped to avoid debris on the road when a second car rear-ended it.
The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to catch fire, igniting the brush on the side of the road.
Three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The highway was closed following the incident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
