2 Killed, 3 Injured in Train Collision at 24th Street and Long Beach Avenue in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California (February 21, 2023) – Two people were killed in a collision between a train and a car in South Los Angeles on Monday.
The fatal crash happened at around 6:15 p.m. at 24th Street and Long Beach Avenue in the Central-Alameda neighborhood.
The Los Angeles Fire Department says a train struck a car on the Metro A (Blue) Line tracks in unclear circumstances.
Two people were killed in the accident. Their names were not immediately disclosed.
Three people were injured in the incident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
