2 Killed in Kings County Car Accident at 27th Avenue and Elder Avenue

Kings County, California (January 29, 2023) – Two people were killed in a head-on collision on Saturday afternoon in Kings County.

The fatal crash happened at the intersection of 27th and Elder Avenues at around 3:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Honda van was traveling eastbound on the highway when it collided head-on with a Hyundai traveling west. It is unknown which of the cars crossed the centerline.

The sedan caught fire after the collision.

Both drivers were killed in the accident.
