P.MarkShayani1 Dies, 2 Others Hurt in Visalia Car Accident at Ben Maddox Street and Douglas Avenue
Visalia, California (January 27, 2023) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a two-vehicle collision that happened at an intersection in Visalia on Friday afternoon.
The fatal accident happened at around 2:30 p.m. at Ben Maddox Street and Douglas Avenue.
A Scion tC was traveling northbound on Ben Maddox Street when, for unknown reasons, it drifted into the southbound lanes and collided with a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.
Emergency personnel responded to the crash and transported three people to Kaweah Health Medical Center.
Sadly, one person succumbed to their injuries before arriving at the hospital.
The other two parties were being treated for their injuries.
The accident resulted in the closure of the intersection for several hour to allow for an investigation.
The accident remains under investigation.
