P.MarkShayani2 Injured in Wrong-Way Accident on Highway 16 in Kitsap County
Kitsap County, Washington (March 23, 2023) – One person was seriously injured in a wrong-way car crash that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Kitsap County.
The collision happened on State Route 16, according to the Washington State Patrol.
The driver of a stolen Toyota Tacoma was traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes and collided head-on with an SUV.
One person was seriously injured in the crash and was taken to the hospital, while another was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The suspect fled the scene on foot and was yet to be located.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
