Vista, California (March 19, 2023) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday night in North County.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department says the fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened at around 8 p.m. near the intersection of Taylor Street and Cresthaven Drive.
A man was crossing the intersection and was struck by a Ford Escape traveling westbound on Taylor Street.
The unidentified man was transported to the hospital where he died while receiving treatment.
The driver of the Ford Escape remained at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
