1 Killed in Car Accident at 4th Avenue South and Massachusetts Street in Seattle

Seattle, Washington (March 26, 2023) – One person was killed in a Saturday morning car crash in  Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood.

The accident happened at around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of 4th Avenue South and South Massachusetts Street.

Two vehicles, including a rideshare vehicle, were involved in the collision. The manner in which the accident happened was not immediately established.

A 27-year-old man was trapped inside a car and had to be extricated by the Seattle Fire Department. The unidentified man was transported to Harborview Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Six passengers in the rideshare vehicle were transported to Harborview with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
