Yerba Buena Island, California (April 6, 2023) – One person was killed in a car crash early Thursday morning in San Francisco.

The fatal crash happened on the 80 Freeway at the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge at around 2:02 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.

A big rig and a sedan were involved in the early morning crash. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person was killed in the accident.

The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
