P.MarkShayani1 Killed in Big Sur Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1
Big Sur, California (April 6, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision that happened on Wednesday morning in Big Sur.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 6:07 a.m. on Highway 1.
The 53-year-old man from Miranda was riding a Harley Davidson southbound on Highway 1 when he was struck by a GMC Sierra 25000 that was turning left into the Naval Facility’s driveway.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not immediately disclosed.
Authorities do not believe DUI was a factor in the accident.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
