Portland, Oregon (March 5, 2023) – One person was killed in a Saturday evening pedestrian accident in Portland.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident was reported at the intersection of Northeast Sandy Boulevard and 162nd Avenue at around 6:29 p.m.
Portland police say a pedestrian was struck by a car on the highway in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian was killed in the accident.
The motorist remained at the accident and was cooperative with the investigation.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
