1 Killed in Snohomish County Car Accident on Highway 9 near 2nd Street

Snohomish County, Washington (March 28, 2023) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision that happened in Snohomish County on Monday evening.

According to the Snohomish County Fire District, the accident happened at around 4:35 p.m. on Highway 9 near 2^nd Street.

Three vehicles, including a commercial concrete pumping truck, were involved in the crash. One of the cars caught fire after the collision.

One person was trapped in the wreckage and had to be extricated.

One person was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Another driver was transported to a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
