VinsnowDriver Killed in Portland Car Accident at Fremont Street and Williams Avenue
Portland, Oregon (June 7, 2023) – A driver suffered fatal injuries following a traffic collision on Tuesday night at an intersection in the Eliot neighborhood in Portland, Oregon.
According to Portland Police Bureau, the accident happened around 7:41 p.m. on June 6 at N Fremont Street and N Williams Avenue.
The North Precinct officers responded to the crash site.
Officials said two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
One of the drivers was pronounced dead at the crash site.
The second motorist was rushed by ambulance to a local medical center with severe non-life threatening injuries.
Police closed North Williams Avenue between N Beech Street and N Cook Street for several hours to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation by the Major Crash Team is ongoing.
