P.MarkShayaniMan Dies in Valley Center Car Accident on Valley Center Road near Vesper Road
Valley Center, California (September 28, 2022) – A 67-year-old man from Oceanside was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Tuesday morning in Valley Center.
The California Highway Patrol said the accident happened shortly before noon on Valley Center Road near Vesper Road.
The man was driving a Hyundai Tucson westbound when, for unknown reasons, he sideswiped a Chevrolet truck.
CHP officials said the Oceanside man was taken to hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The accident led to the closure of the westbound lane of Valley Center Road for about two hours.
More details about the crash were unavailable.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
