1 Dies After Sacramento Car Accident at Cosumnes River Boulevard and Delta Shores Circle

Sacramento, California (December 30, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that killed one person on Thursday night in South Sacramento.

The deadly crash was reported at about 8:15 p.m. on December 29 at Cosumnes River Boulevard and Delta Shores Circle.

Per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined. 

One person sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the crash site.

One party sustained critical injuries, while two others suffered moderate injuries following the accident.

Authorities closed the intersection briefly following the incident.

An investigation is underway.
