Driver Dies After Fiery Corcoran Accident at 10th Avenue and Niles Avenue

Corcoran, California (January 25, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery two-vehicle accident that killed a driver and injured another on Tuesday morning in Corcoran.
The accident happened at about 6:53 p.m. on January 23 at 10th Avenue and Niles Avenue.
Per the CHP officials, a Toyota Camry and a Ford Escape crashed for reasons yet to be determined. The Ford was burning following the collision.
The Camry driver suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the crash site.
Good Samaritans pulled the Ford driver through the sunroof. He sustained severe injuries and was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The names of the motorists were not immediately released.
The incident remains under investigation.
