1 Injured in Car Accident on 15 Freeway near Box Springs Road in Riverside

Riverside, California (October 22, 2022) – One person was injured in a car crash on Friday night in Riverside.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on southbound 15 Freeway near Box Springs Road at around 8:56 p.m.

The officers who responded to the incident recovered a UPS truck, a Nissan sedan and an SUV at the accident scene. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
