1 Injured in Car Accident on 405 Freeway near Brookhurst Street in Fountain Valley

Fountain Valley, California (August 19, 2023) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident that happened on Friday night in Fountain Valley.

The accident was reported around 8 p.m. on northbound I-405 at Brookhurst Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Two vehicles initially collided on the freeway, triggering a chain-reaction collision involving four other cars.

At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital for treatment.
