P.MarkShayani1 Killed, 3 Injured in Fairfield Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Pittman Road
Fairfield, California (December 19, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-car accident that killed one person and injured three others on Sunday evening in Fairfield.
The deadly accident happened around 5:40 p.m. on December 18 on the eastbound 80 Freeway near Pittman Road.
Police said a Tesla sedan was driving at high speed when it crashed into two other vehicles before it rolled several times.
One person riding as a passenger in the Tesla sustained fatal injuries due to the collision. The Tesla driver suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized.
Two parties in the other two cars sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
Further details regarding this crash were not provided.
