1 Killed, 3 Critically Injured After Vernon Truck Accident at Bandini Boulevard and Bonnie Beach Place

Vernon, California (December 28, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly multi-car accident that left one individual with fatal injuries and three others, including children, critically injured on Tuesday afternoon in Vernon.

The collision happened around 3:40 p.m. on December 27 at Bandini Boulevard and Bonnie Beach Place.

Per the CHP officials, a Ford Mustang, a semi-truck, and another vehicle crashed for reasons yet to be determined. The Mustang went underneath the big rig following the accident.

Responding emergency crews declared a Mustang occupant dead at the crash site.

Firefighters extricated a child pinned in the Mustang. A second child and an adult were also Ford’s occupants and were hurt in the accident. The three were rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.

No other information concerning this crash was provided.

An investigation is underway.
