Anaheim, California (April 23, 2023) – A woman died after being hit by a car early Saturday morning in Anaheim.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened around 1 a.m. on North East Street.
The woman was walking in the area when she was struck by a car that was fleeing the police.
The unidentified woman was killed in the accident.
The driver reportedly struck multiple gates and caused damage to homes before fleeing the scene. He was later located and booked into jail on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, hit-and-run resulting in injury or death.
