Woman Killed in Chino Pedestrian Accident on Euclid Street near Pine Avenue

Chino, California (May 13, 2023) – An elderly woman died after being struck by a car on Wednesday evening in Chino.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Euclid Avenue, just south of Pine Avenue around 8:23 p.m.

79-year-old Karin James was walking on Euclid Avenue and was hit by a vehicle traveling southbound on Euclid.

James was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The driver of the involved vehicle stayed at the accident scene and cooperated with the authorities.
