Madera, California (October 21, 2022) – A woman and her dog were killed in a car crash that left three men injured on Thursday evening in Madera County.

The crash was reported at around 6:30 p.m. near Highway 41 and Road 208, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Mini Cooper was traveling eastbound on Road 208 and was trying to merge onto Highway 41 when it was hit by a southbound Toyota Tacoma.

A woman and a dog inside the Mini Cooper were killed in the crash.

A male passenger in the car was seriously injured and was flown to the hospital for treatment.

Two men in the Tacoma were injured in the accident and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
