Tessa Jeffrey and Majid Al Juhaishi Dies After Phoenix Car Accident near Thunderbird Road

Phoenix, Arizona (July 5, 2023) – 41-year-old Tessa Jeffrey, 21-year-old Esteban Espinoza Lopez, and 54-year-old Majid Al Juhaishi have been identified as three persons killed in a car accident early Tuesday morning in Phoenix.
According to a police report, the accident happened at about midnight on July 4, near Thunderbird Road and 17 Freeway.
Police confirmed a white Chevy Camaro, a black Subaru, and a red Chevrolet Traverse SUV crashed. It was reported that the Caamro was heading westbound on Thunderbird Road when it ran a red light at 17 Freeway Southbound Access Road and slammed into the Traverse.
The Traverse then collided with the Subaru that had stopped for a red light at Thunderbird Road and Interstate 17 Access Road.
The impact of the collision caused the Camaro to burst into flames.
Responding fire officials and medics pronounced Jeffrey dead at the accident scene.
Juhaishi and Lopez died at the hospital.
A male and a female riding in the Subaru were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Camaro driver, a 22-year-old man, was arrested at the scene. He was later released, awaiting toxicology results.
The incident remains under investigation.
