Fremont, California (May 6, 2023) – 69-year-old Steven Barnes has been identified as the man who was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Monday afternoon in Fremont.
The fatal crash happened at the intersection of Paseo Padre Parkway and Mowry Avenue, at around 1:15 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol says three vehicles were involved in the crash.
Barnes, a resident of Fremont, was found unresponsive inside the car and was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The drivers of the other two vehicles remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
