Stacey Woienski Dies After Sonoma Valley Accident on Arnold Drive

Sonoma Valley, California (May 18, 2023) – Authorities have identified a person killed in a traffic collision on Tuesday night in Sonoma Valley as Stacey Woienski, 44, of El Verano.

The fatal head-on crash occurred at about 7:25 p.m. on May 16 on Arnold Drive, north of Leveroni Road.

The California Highway Patrol officials said Woienski was heading southbound on Arnold Drive in a 2023 Chevy Silverado pickup when she drove over the double lines and crashed head-on into a Ford Ranger pickup truck.

Woienski suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

The 32-year-old Sonoma resident riding the Ford was flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Authorities closed the roadway for approximately three hours following the accident. 

No additional information concerning this collision was released.

The incident remains under investigation.
