Tempe, Arizona (March 25, 2023) – One person was airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries following a multi-vehicle collision that occurred on Thursday afternoon in Tempe.
The accident happened shortly before noon on Loop 101 near Broadway Road/ Apache Boulevard off-ramp.
Three vehicles were involved. However, the circumstances leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
One person sustained major injuries and was flown to Mesa Hospital for treatment.
Other patients were taken to nearby hospitals with unknown injuries.
