Rancho Cucamonga, (June 1, 2023) – According to the California Highway Patrol, Ryan Spink, 53, died days after his involvement in a traffic collision a few weeks ago in Rancho Cucamonga.

The fatal collision happened at about 1:35 a.m. on Sunday, May 21, on Interstate 210 Freeway.

Police said Spink and his wife, Stacey, were heading home after a tournament when their car developed a mechanical problem. Spink pulled over his vehicle to fix the vehicle when an alleged DUI driver hit him.

The couple was rushed to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with severe injuries. Ryan died from his injuries on Friday, May 26.

Ryan was a head instructor at Cobra Kai Gym in Victorville and a self-defense expert with six black belts across several disciplines.

No additional information concerning this collision was provided.
