VinsnowRichard Wright Killed in Car Accident on Amargosa Road near Luna Road in Victorville
Victorville, California (May 7, 2023) – 48-year-old Richard C. Wright has been identified by the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office as the man who was killed in a car crash on Thursday night in Victorville.
The fatal crash happened at around 9 p.m. on Amargosa Road near Luna Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Wright was driving a Lincoln pickup truck when he crashed into the back of a sedan that was waiting to turn onto the I-15 freeway.
The Lincoln continued traveling down Mariposa Road before crashing into a freeway sign pole.
Wright was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated. Sadly, he succumbed to his injuries at the accident scene.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
