1 Seriously Injured in San Diego Motorcycle Accident on 5 Freeway near Sea World Drive

San Diego, California (December 30, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a fiery chain-reaction crash in San Diego’s Bay Park on Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 5 Freeway near Sea World Drive at around 3:40 a.m.

A motorcycle, a car and a pickup truck were involved in the crash.

The officers who responded to the incident found the motorcyclist unconscious at the scene, while the fire was on fire a few yards away.

The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.

The drivers of the car and the pickup truck were treated at the scene and released.
