Victor KipchumbaMoped Rider Dies After San Diego Accident on Paradise Valley Road
San Diego, California (May 26, 2023) – The San Diego Police Department is investigating a deadly collision that left a moped rider with fatal injuries on Thursday night in Bay Terraces.
The accident occurred in the 7100 block of Paradise Valley Road after 11:00 p.m. on May 25.
Police said a 2016 Nissan Maxima hit a 40-year-old man in a moped.
The moped rider was thrown off the moped following the collision. They suffered fatal injuries from the crash.
Authorities arrested the Nissan driver, a 66-year-old man, for suspicion of driving under the influence.
An investigation is ongoing.
