P.MarkShayaniMeiying Ma Killed, Child Critically Injured in Phelan Car Accident on Highway 138 near Lone Pine Canyon Road
Phelan, California (December 2, 2022) – Meiying Ma, 35, was killed in a two-vehicle collision that left a child critically injured in Phelan last week on Friday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at around 11:06 a.m. on November 25, on Highway 138 between Lone Pine Canyon Road and Cajon Boulevard.
A gold 2000 Nissan Altima and a white Toyota Sequoia SUV were involved, but what led to the crash was not immediately determined.
San Bernardino County Fire responded to the crash and pronounced Ma dead at the scene.
CHP says a child sustained severe injuries and was flown to the hospital for treatment.
The Sequoia driver was also taken to the hospital with unspecified injuries.
No other information about the incident was provided.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
