Tucson, Arizona (March 9, 2024) – 90-year-old Mary Nunez Ramirez died following a two-vehicle collision that happened on Sunday in Tucson.
According to the Tucson police, the accident occurred near St. Mary’s Road and Grande Avenue in March 5.
A 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was making a left turn onto Grande Avenue when it collided with a 2013 Hyundai Sonata.
Ramirez, who was a passenger in the Sonata, sustained severe injuries and was taken to hospital where she later died.
The driver of the Sonata and another passenger were taken to hospital with non-life- threatening injuries.
More details about the crash were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
