Mark O’Leary Dies After San Diego Motorcycle Crash on Garnet Avenue 

San Diego, California (December 1, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a fatal accident that killed 65-year-old Mark James O’Leary of San Diego on November 18, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The fatal crash occurred at about 12:01 p.m. on Garnet Avenue at Morrell Street.

Police said O’Leary was heading eastbound on Garnet Avenue on his motorcycle when he crashed into a pickup truck on the driver’s side. The truck had halted on Morrel street before turning to the rider’s side.

Emergency crews and medics responded to the scene and rushed O’Leary to Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla. O’Leary was declared dead at the hospital.
