Sacramento, California (August 18, 2023) – 53-year-old Marcus Winkfield has been identified as the man who died in a car crash that happened on Thursday morning in Sacramento.
The accident was reported around 5 a.m. on Twin Cities Road (Highway 104) near Clay Station Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The man, a resident of Galt, was driving a 2002 Honda Civic eastbound at a high rate of speed when he drifted into the opposite lanes and collided head-on with a 2016 Dodge pickup truck.
Marcus was killed in the accident.
The truck driver complained of pain but declined medical treatment.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
