Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 in Bolinas

1 Killed in Bolinas Motorcycle Accident on Highway 1 near Fairfax-Bolinas Road

Bolinas, California (April 2, 2023) – A motorcyclist was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on Saturday afternoon in Bolinas.

The fatal crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on Highway 1 near Fairfax-Bolinas Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A Subaru Crosstrek and two motorcycles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.

A 60-year-old Forestville man riding a Yamaha motorcycle was killed in the accident.

Daniel Orozco, 24, was riding a BMW motorcycle and was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek.

Barbara Boucke, 83, of Stinson Beach, was driving the Subaru and was taken to Marin Health Medical Center for treatment.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
